TVR Logistics Inc
Effective Date: 19 August 2026 Last Updated: 19 August 2026
1. Introduction
TVR Logistics Inc ("TVR Logistics," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of the people who visit our website and who contact us about freight transportation services or driving opportunities.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website at
https://tvrlogisticsinc.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and
the choices and rights available to you.
We have written this policy to describe our actual practices. Our website is a straightforward informational site with two contact forms. We do not run advertising networks on it, we do not use analytics or tracking pixels, and we do not sell personal information.
Please read this policy together with our Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of the website.
2. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to personal information we collect:
- through our website, including the Contact form and the Driver Application form;
- when you email us or call the telephone number published on our website; and
- through the ordinary technical operation of our website (for example, server logs).
This policy does not apply to:
- information about a shipment that we receive from a business customer, a broker, a shipper or another carrier in the course of arranging or performing transportation, which is handled under our agreements with those parties rather than through the website;
- personnel records of people we actually hire or engage, which are governed by our internal employment and contractor policies rather than by this website policy CONFIRM WHETHER SEPARATE HR / DRIVER PRIVACY NOTICES EXIST;
- third-party websites or services we do not control.
Our website is intended for users in the United States. Our services are offered across the continental United States, and our information is stored and processed in the United States.
3. Information We Collect
We collect only two categories of information: information you choose to give us, and a limited amount of technical information that is generated automatically when any website is visited.
3.1 Information You Provide
When you use the Contact form, you provide:
| Field | Required? |
|---|---|
| First name | Yes |
| Last name | Yes |
| Email address | Yes |
| Telephone number | No |
| Service you are interested in (Full Truckload, Less Than Truckload, Flatbed, Refrigerated, Expedited, Driver Application, or Other) | No |
| Your message | No |
When you use the Driver Application form, you provide:
| Field | Required? |
|---|---|
| First name | Yes |
| Last name | Yes |
| Telephone number | Yes |
| Email address | Yes |
| Position sought (Company Driver or Owner Operator) | Yes |
| Pay option preference | No |
| CDL class (Class A, Class B, or no CDL) | Yes |
| Years of driving experience | Yes |
| State of residence | Yes |
| Trailer-type experience | No |
| Additional notes or questions | No |
Free-text fields. The message and notes fields are open. Please include only the information needed for us to help you, and do not submit Social Security numbers, driver's licence numbers, financial account numbers, medical or health information, or other sensitive information through these forms. If you send us sensitive information anyway, we will handle it in accordance with this policy, but the forms are not designed to receive it.
Consent choices on both forms. Each form also records:
- whether you ticked the box confirming you have read this Privacy Policy and agree to our Terms & Conditions (this box is required); and
- whether you ticked the separate box consenting to receive SMS text messages (this box is optional, is unchecked by default, and is never required to submit either form).
For each, we record your choice, the exact wording you were shown, and the date and time you made it, so that we have a record of what you agreed to. See Section 10.2.
When you email or call us, we receive whatever information you choose to include, together with your email address or telephone number.
What we do not collect through the website. We do not collect payment card or bank account details, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's licence numbers or images, medical examiner's certificates, motor vehicle records, drug- or alcohol-testing results, background-check information, precise geolocation, or biometric information. Our website has no account registration, no login, no customer portal, no shipment-tracking interface, no document upload and no payment function of any kind. If you are hired or engaged as a driver, additional information required by federal motor carrier safety regulations will be collected separately and outside this website.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
Like all websites, ours generates technical records when it is used. Through our hosting provider, we and it receive:
- your IP address;
- your browser type, version and operating system (user agent);
- the page or file requested, the date and time of the request, the response status, and the referring page, if any.
We use these records to deliver the website, keep it secure, detect and prevent abuse of our contact forms, and diagnose technical problems. These logs are generated and retained by our hosting provider as part of its service CONFIRM RETENTION PERIOD WITH HOSTING PROVIDER.
Our website also loads an icon font from a third-party content delivery network (cdnjs, operated
by Cloudflare, Inc.). As a result, when you load a page, your IP address, browser information and
the fact that you visited our site are received by that provider. We do not control and do not
receive that provider's logs. We are evaluating hosting this font ourselves to remove that
disclosure.
3.3 Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be specific, because much of what a privacy policy usually describes simply does not happen on our site:
- We do not use analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager and no analytics tool of any kind on our website.
- We do not use advertising or tracking technologies. There are no advertising pixels, no retargeting tags, no social media trackers and no third-party advertising networks on our website.
- We do not build profiles, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website does not set cookies. It does not use browser local storage or session storage, and it does not use web beacons, pixels, device fingerprinting or similar tracking technologies. There is therefore no cookie banner and no cookie preference centre, because there is nothing to consent to or to switch off.
Our hosting provider and the content delivery network described in Section 3.2 may use strictly necessary, operational identifiers to deliver and secure the site.
If we ever introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies, we will update this policy, state clearly what is used, and provide any consent or opt-out mechanism required by applicable law before doing so.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- To respond to you. To answer your enquiry, provide information about our services, and follow up by email or telephone.
- To discuss and arrange transportation services. To understand your freight needs, provide a rate or proposal, and — if we go forward — to arrange or perform the transportation. Note that no rate is generated by the website; all pricing and booking happen through direct communication with us.
- To evaluate driver and owner-operator applications. To assess qualifications, contact applicants (we aim to respond within 24–48 hours), and progress the application.
- To operate, maintain and secure our website, including preventing spam, fraud and abuse of our forms.
- To keep records of enquiries and applications for our internal business purposes.
- To comply with law and with the record-keeping requirements applicable to our operations, including U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements where they apply.
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
We do not use your information for purposes that are materially different from those described here without telling you first.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade or share it for anyone else's marketing purposes, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers
We use a small number of vendors to run the website and to receive form submissions. They process information on our behalf, for our purposes, and are not permitted to use it for their own:
| Service provider | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify, Inc. | Hosts our website and runs the two serverless functions that receive our form submissions | All website request data (including IP address and user agent) and the contents of each form submission as it passes through |
| Google LLC (Google Apps Script / Google Workspace) | Receives and records our Contact form and Driver Application form submissions | Everything you enter in either form |
Cloudflare, Inc. (cdnjs) |
Delivers the icon font used by our website | Your IP address, browser information and the referring page, at the moment the font loads |
CONFIRM: any additional providers used off-website to handle enquiries or applications — for example an email provider, a phone or messaging service, a dispatch or TMS platform, or a background-check or driver-qualification vendor, or the provider that delivers the SMS messages described in Section 10.2 — must be added here before publication.
6.2 Transportation Partners
Where we arrange or perform transportation, we may share the information necessary to complete the shipment — such as a contact name, telephone number, email address, and the pickup and delivery details you provide — with the parties who need it to do the job. Depending on the shipment, these may include third-party motor carriers, drivers, dispatchers, warehouses, terminals and other logistics providers. We share only what those parties need to perform the shipment.
6.3 Professional Advisors
We may disclose information to our attorneys, accountants, insurers and insurance adjusters where reasonably necessary — for example, in connection with a cargo claim, an accident, or a dispute.
6.4 Legal Disclosures
We may disclose personal information where we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, a subpoena, court order, or other legal or regulatory process;
- respond to a lawful request from law enforcement or a government authority, including the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration or a state transportation agency;
- enforce our Terms & Conditions or our agreements;
- investigate suspected fraud, security incidents or abuse of our website; or
- protect the rights, property or safety of TVR Logistics, our customers, our drivers, or the public.
6.5 Business Transfers
If TVR Logistics is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honour this policy, or we will give you notice and any choice required by law before your information becomes subject to a materially different policy.
6.6 With Your Direction
We will share your information with anyone else at your request or with your consent.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy.
- Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business communications.
- Driver and owner-operator applications are kept for as long as needed to evaluate the application and, where we go forward, as part of the driver qualification process, and thereafter for the periods required by applicable federal motor carrier safety and employment record-keeping rules.
- Transportation records — including documents relating to shipments, rates and claims — are kept for the periods required by applicable transportation regulations and by the statutes of limitation that apply to claims.
- Website server logs are retained by our hosting provider under its standard practice.
BUSINESS CONFIRMATION REQUIRED — specific retention periods. The repository does not define any retention period, and the destination of form submissions (a Google Apps Script endpoint) is configured outside the codebase. Concrete retention periods must be established, documented and inserted here before publication, together with a routine for deleting records at the end of those periods.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or take steps to render it no longer associated with you.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. These include:
- serving our website over encrypted HTTPS connections;
- transmitting form submissions over encrypted connections to our processing endpoint;
- holding the credentials for that endpoint as protected server-side configuration rather than in our website code;
- using security response headers on our website; and
- limiting access to submitted information to the people who need it to do their jobs
[CONFIRM ACCESS-CONTROL PRACTICE FOR THE RECEIVING ACCOUNT].
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us over the internet at your own risk. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, driver's licence numbers or financial account details through our website forms or by unencrypted email.
We make no representation that our practices meet any particular security certification or framework, and this policy makes no such claim.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Several U.S. states have enacted comprehensive privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others — that give residents rights over their personal information. Whether a particular law applies to TVR Logistics depends on statutory thresholds relating to revenue and the volume of personal information processed.
LEGAL CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: whether TVR Logistics meets the applicability thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) or of any other state privacy statute. Several of these laws also contain a business-to-business or employment-data scope that is particularly relevant here, because our Driver Application collects applicant information.
Regardless of whether these laws apply to us, we will honour the following requests from any person who has submitted information to us through our website, to the extent we can verify the request and subject to our legal record-keeping obligations:
- Right to know / access. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties we have disclosed it to, and to receive a copy.
- Right to correct. You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to delete. You may ask us to delete personal information we have collected from you. We may decline where we are required or permitted to keep it — for example, records we must retain under transportation regulations, records relating to an active or anticipated claim, or information needed to complete a transaction you requested.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We have not built a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism because we do not engage in either practice. If that ever changes, we will provide one and update this policy first.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through our website, and we do not use any personal information for purposes that would trigger this right.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
- Right to appeal. If we decline your request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response. Several state laws give you the right to appeal a refusal, and to contact your state attorney general if you are not satisfied with the outcome.
9.1 California Notice at Collection
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, this policy — together with the notice we will place on our forms — serves as our notice at collection. In the 12 months preceding the effective date of this policy, we collect the categories of personal information described in Section 3 (identifiers, including name, email address, telephone number and IP address; professional information, including CDL class and driving experience; and the contents of your communications with us), for the purposes described in Section 5, from the sources described in Section 3, and disclose them for the business purposes and to the categories of recipients described in Section 6. We have not sold or shared personal information in that period.
California residents may also designate an authorised agent to make a request on their behalf; we will ask for proof of the agent's authority and may ask you to confirm the request directly.
9.2 Applicants and Employees
If you apply to drive for us, the information you submit is applicant information. California and some other states extend privacy rights to job applicants. Applicant information is used to evaluate your application and, if we go forward, as part of the driver qualification file required by federal motor carrier safety regulations. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising. CONFIRM WHETHER A SEPARATE APPLICANT / EMPLOYEE PRIVACY NOTICE IS REQUIRED AND, IF SO, ISSUE ONE.
9.3 How to Make a Privacy Request
Send your request to us using the contact details in Section 14, and tell us:
- what you would like us to do (know, correct, or delete);
- the name, email address and telephone number you used when you contacted us, so we can find your records; and
- whether you are making the request for yourself or as an authorised agent.
Identity verification. To protect your information, we will verify your identity before acting on a request. We will normally do this by matching the information in your request against the information we already hold, and by contacting you at the email address or telephone number in our records. We may ask for additional information if we cannot verify you from what we hold. We use any information you give us for verification only for that purpose. If we cannot verify you, we will tell you, and we may not be able to act on the request.
Timing. We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond within the time required by applicable law — generally within 45 days, with an extension where permitted, in which case we will tell you.
10. Marketing Choices and SMS Messages
10.1 Marketing
We do not operate a marketing email programme, a newsletter, or any promotional or marketing text message programme, and our website has no sign-up for one. We contact you in response to your enquiry or application, and to conduct our business relationship with you.
If we send you a commercial email in the future, it will include an unsubscribe mechanism, and you can also ask us to stop at any time using the contact details in Section 14. We may still send you communications necessary to a service you have asked for or a shipment in progress.
10.2 SMS Messages
SMS Disclosures
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Message frequency may vary.
- You can opt out at any time by texting "STOP".
- For assistance, text "HELP" or visit our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions pages.
Both forms on our website include an optional checkbox, unchecked by default and never required, through which you may consent to receive SMS text messages from us. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of contacting us, of receiving a quote, or of applying to drive with us.
If you consent to receive SMS from TVR Logistics Inc, you agree to receive customer care SMS messages from us — replies to your enquiry, follow-up questions about your freight, coordination with our dispatch team about a shipment you have asked us to handle, and replies about a driver or owner-operator application. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
Reply STOP to opt-out; Reply HELP for support; Message & data rates may apply; Messaging frequency may vary. Visit https://tvrlogisticsinc.com/privacy to see our privacy policy and https://tvrlogisticsinc.com/terms-and-conditions/ to see our terms and conditions. Our full SMS programme disclosures are at https://tvrlogisticsinc.com/sms-terms.
SMS consent and phone numbers are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your mobile number is used to message you about the matter you contacted us about. Where a shipment requires it, a contact number may be shared with the parties who need it to perform that shipment, as described in Section 6.2 — that is operational, not marketing.
You can withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us using the details in Section 14. Withdrawing SMS consent does not stop us contacting you by telephone or email about your enquiry, application or shipment.
We keep a record of your SMS consent — whether you gave it, the wording you were shown, and when — for as long as we need it to demonstrate that consent was obtained, and for any period required by applicable telecommunications rules.
11. Children's Privacy
Our website and our services are directed to businesses and to adults seeking professional driving opportunities — our advertised driver requirements include a minimum age of 23. Our website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. International Users
TVR Logistics operates in the United States and our services are offered in the continental United States. Our website and the providers we use store and process information in the United States. If you access our website from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your own country. We do not target our website or services to individuals outside the United States, and this policy is not written to address the requirements of non-U.S. privacy laws.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our technology, or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and post the updated policy on our website.
If we make material changes — for example, if we begin using analytics or advertising technologies, or begin sharing personal information for a materially different purpose — we will provide a more prominent notice on our website before the change takes effect, and obtain consent where the law requires it.
Your continued use of our website after an updated policy is posted means you are subject to the updated policy.
